Complimentary Consultation

At your first visit to our office, Dr. Capozzi provides a set of photographs along with a thorough orthodontic examination. During the consultation Dr. Capozzi will personally discuss with you in detail what (if any) orthodontic treatment is necessary to meet your needs. She and her staff will answer your questions regarding treatment, fees and expected results.

Regular Appointments

Your appointment after your consultation will be for diagnostic records which include extraoral x-rays, impressions for study models and the placement of any separators. This appointment takes about 40 minutes. Your braces are placed at the appointment after records. The initial placement of fixed braces can take anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes depending on how many teeth are involved and what type of appliances are used. At this time full instructions are given on how to care for your new braces and what you can expect.

Most appointments after the initial braces or Invisalign aligners are placed are made about every six weeks. Appointments for regular adjustments are usually 30 minutes in length. Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.
