Meet Our Orthodontic Team
At the orthodontic practice of Carla Capozzi, DMD, our friendly, dedicated, and energetic orthodontic team is committed to working with you and your family to create a positive orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice.
We welcome you with warm smiles to our practice!
I have worked with Dr. Capozzi for 13 years. I enjoy working at the front desk, greeting and chatting with patients as they arrive. I use my computer science degree and technical skills to help manage Dr. Capozzi’s computer network, which keeps our office up to date with the latest technology. I had many fun years as an orthodontic clinical assistant before moving to the front desk. My goal is to make our patients’ everyday life a little bit easier by doing my best to accommodate their schedules with appointments they need. When not in the office I enjoy my home and spending time with my husband and two sons. Antique collecting and roller coaster riding make fun days for all of us.
I have been with Dr. Capozzi for eight years as her financial coordinator. Our practice is determined to give our patients the best care with fabulous results. It makes me smile when I can help a parent or patient feel comfortable with their financial arrangements, allowing them to concentrate more on their orthodontic treatment. When I am not on the phone with insurance companies helping our patients receive their health benefits, I enjoy being at home or in the park with my husband and our four extremely active dogs, Bailey, Bueller, Bart, and Bear. We also spend as much time as we can with our many nieces and nephews!
Clinical Assistant, Lab Technician
I have been on Dr. Capozzi’s team for 10 years. We are a progressive office keeping up with latest proven techniques in tooth movements such as Incognito™ lingual braces and frictionless braces. I love digging into new methods and watching our patients benefit from a smoother or faster treatment with the best possible end result. Making a fun and colorful retainer or mouthguard for the kids is a job I also really enjoy! Most of my free time is spent with my husband raising our two young daughters. We enjoy traveling and entertainment and many fun times with our extended families.
Clinical Assistant, Inventory Manager
Dr. Carla Capozzi Orthodontics has been my second home for the past 16 years. I have seen many patients grow from young children into adulthood. I take great pride in seeing the transitions in the patients’ smiles and in their personalities as they mature and gain confidence. Placing bands, brackets, and wires is so natural to me and I try to make it comfortable for our patients in every situation. When not at work, I am always active with my husband and family, but nothing makes me happier than the company of my two-year-old grandson, Calvin.
I am the newest staff member to Dr. Capozzi’s team, but I feel like I have been here for years already! Five of my family members have been her patients over the last 12 years, including myself! I attended school for dental assisting three years ago and was fortunate to be employed with Dr. Capozzi. I love being a part of such a great team. Watching kids and adults become more self-assured when they flash a beautiful smile makes my job worthwhile. My two sons and husband keep me occupied after work with middle school and college life and inline hockey games. We also enjoy traveling to see my family in different parts of the country, even though a part of me will always be from Long Beach, CA!
I have been with Dr. Capozzi for five years. I love the way our office works as a team and is totally dedicated to the best interest of our patients. Each one of our patients is unique and special to us, and I enjoy putting them at ease by chatting about their interests. For many years I mastered general dentistry and was able to do the same in orthodontics. I am an Invisalign wearer myself and know first hand how it works which is helpful to our patients when they start with their treatment. My husband and I love our pool and camping with our RV. Our daughter keeps us very busy with her dancing and school activities as well.
I have been on Dr. Capozzi’s team for four years. I have worked in many orthodontic offices over the years but I am most comfortable in Dr. Capozzi’s practice. We not only deal with premium products and current treatment methods, but we also keep communication going with our patients throughout their treatment. I like giving complete instructions in how to care for their appliances so patients know exactly what to expect, and we are always available for answering questions and emergencies. I love to see the transformation of our patients’ smiles during treatment! My husband, our two children, and I very much enjoy our pool, dining out, family game time, and walking with our dog, Trooper.
I have enjoyed working with Dr. Capozzi for eight years. I love working with kids and seeing the results of their hard work while wearing braces. I am usually the assistant who helps with removing braces and inserting retainers and I love being there for them on the day their braces are removed and being a part of their success. Another part of my job is making sure Dr. Capozzi’s equipment stays in excellent working order which I feel is imperative to maintain a good practice and patient care. When I go home, my husband, cats, and rescued greyhounds all patiently wait for my attention. We are also the proud parents of two adult children and recent grandparents to two Red Setters.
Clinical Assistant, Lab Technician, Treatment Communication Coordinator
I have been with Dr. Capozzi for 13 years. My earlier years were spent in general dentistry and business, but nothing beats helping people get a great smile! Our patients are very important to me and to all of us. We have great communication with patients, parents, and dentists to ensure the best results, and I’m the one to send records to other specialists. I remind people that they can look at their photos online as well! It is also my pleasure to run our many contests and events to motivate patients to cooperate with treatment and to make orthodontics FUN in our office. My husband and I are empty-nesters with two adult children, with our hearts split between two wonderful grandsons.
